skahaa right there.
an eight hour drive-short cut to spring
One reason to be thankful to escape work to skahaa…grouse-a-saur attack.
Zen Teoh, Skahaa. pity about the bolts!

northern reaches of slabathon
slabathon…a long standing itch
sophie was hungover so missed out on this…
dicko drops in
sophie norton, sea of dreams
pitch 4, sa of dreams, guides rock
stanley headwall, what a cliff!
vinny, about to do some sluff mis-management on Stanley’s N face
christoph, stanley N face
stanley n face on upper right..already schralped but still beckoning. by the way, the better route is to double back on the ramp/ledge from lower left till above the left of the 2 waterfalls, stability permitting..then straight up the above valley. the other route up stanley glacier on climbers left is steeper, bit longer, with more crevasse and arguably avalanche hazard, plus possible serac hazard. there is a steep convex wall halfway up the ledge route but it is bootpackable on extreme climbers left if conditions dictate. weskiied down the climbers r route and were surprised at the galaical and avalanche, and exposure complexit, compared to the ledge route.
ahh the satisfaction, looking back at your tracks in early afternoon. time for rock, or maybe I’ll just barbeque…
